What are Clear Aligners?
Clear Aligner treatment is a virtually invisible way to straighten your teeth. We use advanced 3D computer-imaging technology to show you your complete treatment plan from the initial position of your teeth towards the final desired position. Then a series of clear aligners are custom-made for your teeth to move them little by little.
Key information
- Each aligner is worn for about two weeks before being replaced by the next in the series, gradually moving towards the projected final position.
- The treatment time depends on your specific needs .
Apart from our own clear aligner system, our dentist is certified to provide Invisalign, Smilelign, Cthru Smiles, Fast Braces and Inman Aligner system.
Clear Aligners
- There is no metal involved and aligners are not fixed to teeth
- Aligners are more comfortable to wear
- Aligners are nearly invisible and don’t affect your smile
- Aligners don’t affect your work as nobody would know you are wearing them
- Aligners have to be removed for brushing/flossing. Hence easy to maintain good oral hygiene
- Result can be seen on the computer software before starting treatment. Hence great predictability.
- Most cases complete in 6 months
Traditional metal wires and brackets
- Metal wires and brackets are fixed to front surfaces of teeth
- They are uncomfortable to wear
- They are highly visible and therefore affect your smile
- They can affect your work especially if you are in a people facing job
- It is difficult to maintain good oral hygiene because brushing or flossing gets harder
- Result is not predictable
- Treatment times can be 2 to 3 years
